How to Prepare (Makes 1 cup/8oz)
Ingredients
• 2 tbsp Blue Corn Atole Mix
• 1½ cups milk or water
• Sweetener to taste (piloncillo, honey, or maple syrup)
• Optional: cinnamon stick or star anise
Directions
1. Mix atole powder with ½ cup cold liquid to form a smooth paste.
2. Add 1 cup more liquid and stir over medium heat.
3. Add sweetener and spice. Simmer 5–7 minutes until thickened.
4. Serve warm
